Democracy Lab
Mudland Democracy Lab is a dynamic initiative designed to nurture democratic values by combining the power of media, grassroots activism, and educational outreach.
The Lab brings together activists, educators, artists, and policymakers to create and support projects that challenge the status quo and encourage civic participation. Through documentaries, workshops, campaigns, and creative collaborations, Democracy Lab aims to empower marginalised voices and cultivate a more inclusive, resilient democratic society.
India, with its rich and ancient democratic traditions, stands as the mother of democracy. In light of the challenging times for democratic values in India today, the Mudland Democracy Lab has dedicated its pilot project to the country, aiming to document the evolving landscape and strengthen the fundamental pillars of democracy. Through this initiative, the Lab seeks to engage with critical issues, ensuring that India's deep-rooted democratic values are preserved and empowered for future generations.
